Mindfulness Bingo

During this crazy time, we may let out mind drift to all things we are missing out on while also thinking of all the things we need to be doing. Give some mindfulness Bingo a try. It is a chance to slow down your brain and relax with focusing on yourself. If you finish let me know, Send me an email with some picture or thoughts about how it all went. I'd love to hear from you!

Make a Glitter Calm Down Bottle

I love GLITTER!! With this break I wanted to look for an activity to do that helps with my emotions and uses glitter.. GLITTER CALM DOWN BOTTLE! Below are the steps to make a glitter calm down bottle. Make one and share it with me over email. [email protected]. I would love to see what you create!

 What you will need:

  • A jar or plastic bottle
  • A jug of warm water (may need to have a parent help with this)
  • 1/2 cup of glitter glue
  • 3 drops of food coloring
  • GLITTER of your choice

How to make a Calm Down Glitter Bottle:

Step 1: Add warm water to your jar or bottle until it reaches about 1/3 of the way up

Step 2: Add glitter glue and stir until it combines with the water

Step 3: Add about 3 drop of food coloring to the jar/bottle and stir. You can add more or less depending on the color you want. ** be careful not to make it too dark or you will not see the glitter**

Step 4: Pour in your GLITTER!! Use different color or textures. Stir until combined.

Step 5: Top off the rest of your jar/bottle with warm until it is almost full. Be sure to leave a little room at the top of the jar for everything to move.

Step 6 Take a picture and send it to Miss Britt.
