Woodmen of the World Playground Fundraiser

Glenwood senior, Holden Tate, is conducting a service project with Woodmen of the World to raise $20,000 to update our elementary school playground.

The playground this project will be focusing on is the kindergarten through fifth grade playground, and needs to be useful for the wide variety of ages that utilize this playground. The elementary school playground currently has swings, a slide combination structure, and climbing pieces such as monkey bars. Funds will be used to add new, updated equipment to the playground. The school currently has equipment that is well over 20 years old, and some of it has been patched and fixed throughout the years. Specifically, the school would benefit most from an additional slide and structures that appeal to the younger age elementary students.
