Welcome Back Gators!

Mrs. Curtis

Welcome to my page!   My name is Meredith Curtis and this is my fourth year teaching at Glenwood School.  I have been teaching science for 14 years.  I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Animal, Dairy and Veterinary Science from Clemson University, and my Masters Degree from Auburn University in Economics.
I have been married to my husband John for 21 years, and we have four children- Jackson, Riley, Lily and Sam. Jackson just graduated from Glenwood and is now an Auburn Tiger.  So we will be splitting our time this year between Glenwood and Auburn!
Please take some time to look around the site and see what you can find. I want you to have a wonderful school year, and if there is any way that I can help you in achieving this, please let me know!  I am excited about the 2019-2020 school year!

Dressing up for "Freedom Friday".  Thank you to those who have served and continue to serve so that we may live in the "Land of the Free"!!
We have been doing lots of hands-on activities learning about lab safety, scientific inquiry, the scientific method, and laboratory equipment these first few days of school.  I have uploaded some pictures in the photo album if you would like to see what your children have been working on.  Thank you for allowing me the privilege of working with your children each day.  They are a wonderful group, and I am truly excited about the year ahead!

First Day

Hello Everyone!  We had a great first day!  Thank you so much for sending in your supplies and supporting our classroom.  Don't forget to bring back your signed syllabus tomorrow.

This is a picture of my family last fall.  I have four children- ages 15, 12, 7 and 5 and have been happily married to the best husband in the world for almost 17 years.
