Mrs. Camacho's 5th Grade
Welcome to 5th grade! I am really excited about this school year and can't wait to get to know your student.
I am originally from Gulf Breeze, FL where I lived until I graduated from Gulf Breeze High School. I moved to Auburn to attend Auburn University where I received my degree in Elementary Education in 2000. I began my teaching career here at Glenwood and taught 2nd grade for 9 years. I then taught in the Phenix City school system for another 8 years. I returned to Glenwood in 2017, and it has been a blessing to be back!
On a personal note, I am married to my husband Luis (my high school sweetheart!), and we have 2 awesome kids. My daughter Katie is a Glenwood alumni class of 2014, and my son Thomas graduated from Glenwood in 2018. Both are Glenwood lifers! I also have a granddaughter that will be a baby Gator this year!
