Reading/ Phonics: Strong and True reader / Chart 13
* students will work at their own pace to test on the 12 AR stories/ passing 2 test a week will have you completing the stories before the May 12th deadline
Chart card test Wed. April 23rd
Spelling: hoping, hopping, hoped, hopped, tapping, taping, liked, skipped, getting, baking, named, raking, saved, were, some
Test Friday, April 25th
Math: numbers 1-300, concepts of addition and subtraction with our fact families 1-13, patterns, number words, writing our numbers, counting by 2, 5, 10, 25 clocks/telling time, counting pennies/dimes/nickels, quarters, dollar, half dollar; #'s that come before/between/after, using a ruler, addition/subtraction word problems, temperature, half/whole, 1/4 of a shape, cup, pint, quart, half gallon, gallon; pound/ounces, adding 2 digit numbers, counting by 3's, graphs, carrying the one to the tens column/ Continue practicing fact cards to improve automaticity with number recognition. :) Be sure to practice and notice plus and minus signs and discuss the difference.

Bible: devotion / worship songs
Language: Pronouns / writing personal narratives / sequencing / sentence correction
Daily Homework (Math fact cards should be practiced throughout the week)
