Head Coach Dusty Perdue
Coach has been at Glenwood for 18 years. He is a graduate of Shaw High School in 1987, went to Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College to play tennis and basketball. Coach Perdue graduated from Troy University in 2015 with a degree in Sports Management.
He began his coaching career as a Little League coach for 9 years at Northern Little League, he was an All-Star coach multiple times and won multiple championships. Coach Perdue was asked to coach girl's basketball and softball at Calvary Christian School for 2 years before becoming a Glenwood Gator in 2004. Coach Perdue has won multiple Region Championships at Glenwood In Basketball and Softball. Coach Perdue is the Head Coach of 4 of the 5 State Championships in Men's Basketball at Glenwood. (2007,2013,2017,2023) He also became the Head Girl’s Coach in the '20-'21 season. He has won 3 State Championships on the Girl's side ('21,'22,'24). He also has been the Head Coach of all the State Championships in Fast-Pitch Softball at the school, (7). (2009,2010,2011,2015,2016,2017,2019) Coach Perdue has coached Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis and Softball at Glenwood. Coach Perdue was inducted into the Chattahoochee Valley Sports Hall of Fame in 2024.
Coach Perdue and his wife Jennifer have 4 children, Hadley (23), Skye (19), Parker (23) and Cal (26).
