Happy Reading!

Multiplication_Test

Good Afternoon Parents and Students!

As discussed in classes today, each Friday, students will be given a multiplication speed drill. The drill consists of 100 questions and is timed to be 5 minutes. Once a student scores a 100 on their test, they will no longer have to take the drill, and will be rewarded with another 100 each time their classmates continue to take the drill. I am attaching the actual test along with the link to my quizlet that will help them study for the test.

Weekly Plans 8/12-8/16

Disclaimer: We will be following the curriculum for the iStudy for Success program that Glenwood has invested in. Additional supplemental materials will be consulted and implemented throughout the course of the year.

Homework: For the most part your child will not have homework for this class other than required reading logs for each week. Occasionally they may be asked to take home unfinished classwork to bring back the next day, but I anticipate that being a rarity.

Monday: Discuss Multiplication Test; Library; Reading Logs; Complete Poem.

Tuesday: Session #1-Interest Inventory; Journal; DEAR time.

Wednesday: Session #2-Time Management; Journal

Thursday: Session #3-Organization Day 1; Journal

Friday: READING LOGS DUE; Session #3 continued; Journal; Academic Study Hall
