Define the following terms from the internet and post a picture of them to this assignment. You may also type the words into a google doc and attach it! Make sure you are looking up the BIOLOGY definitions!

2. Look at the "What Am I?" Activity below and be able to say if these pictures are a virus or a bacteria. The answers are at the bottom of the activity and you will see some of these pictures on the quiz tomorrow! Pay attention to shapes in order to say if it is a virus or bacteria.

1. Print out or write the questions on your own paper from document labeled "video questions"

3. Do the "Primary Source" activity at the end of the document. Number #11 is optional, but #9 and #10 are required.
4. Submit a google document or a picture of the worksheet with the answers to the questions by Thursday (12/3) at 3:30. This will be your W16 classwork grade.

2. Print or copy the virus worksheet attached, read, and answer the questions.
3. Go back to slide 15 (VENN DIAGRAM) from your notes and fill that in.

1. Go to the powerpoint posted for the week. Copy slides #1-8 on your own paper.
2. Print or draw the Bacteria cell worksheet attached. Go to the Cells alive website: https://www.cellsalive.com/ , click bacteria under interactive cell models, start animation, then hover over the parts of the cell, label and write a brief description.

Take a picture of the front and back of your bell ringer sheet and post it here for this assignment. Just put virtual in for the days that you have been home.

Watch the video on the crayfish dissection. Make 10 observations or write down 10 things you learned from the dissection. You can also look up facts about the way crayfish live to add to the google doc for your 10 statements.

Watch the video on the eye dissection. Use the google doc to make 10 observations or write 10 things that you learned while watching the dissection. Submit the assignment.

Post your answers for 3 stations ONLY (if you are at home).

Use the book to define the words listed on:
pg 152 "chromosome" through "sexual reproduction"
pg 174 tumor, cancer, carcinogen

Use the diagram and the microscope notes (slides 4-9) to label the parts and functions of the microscope. Have this ready to be checked by Mrs. Garner in class on Wednesday.

You will be assigned a bioethical issue in class in small groups. Your group will create a slide show using the directions given in class by Mrs. Garner on ONE question. Class time will be given to research and create your presentation. Presentations will be done in class of your findings.

Post the slide show or COPY of your groups slide show to the assignment.

Use pages 102 and 103 in the book to define all the vocabulary words for Chapter 5. You can use the chapter or glossary. Please # your words. Post a picture of your HAND WRITTEN words in this assignment by 9/18. This will be your classwork grade for week 6 even though it was assigned in week 5. There are 44 words!
