May 14-18: Week 9:  Review Monday, Test Tuesday.  Review for Final rest of the week.
  
 May 7-11:  Week 8: Continue Organic Chemistry, test Start of Next Week.
 
April 30-May 4: Week 7:  Continue Study of Organic Chemistry.
 
April 23-27: Week 6: Review Equilibrium Monday, Test Tuesday.  Begin Study of Organic Chemistry.
 
April 16-20: Week 5: Continue Study of Equilibrium.
 
April 9-13:  Week 4: Complete Reaction Rates, Test Wednesday.  Begin Equilibrium.
 
April 3-6: Week 3: Begin study of Reaction rates; Test next week.
 
March 26-29: Week 2:  Begin Thermochemistry.  Test Thursday. 
 
March 12-16: Week 1: Cover Acids & Bases, titrations, pH; review Wednesday, Test Thursday.  Section wrap-up & demo on Friday.

3rd 9 Weeks
 
March 5-9:  Week 9+:  Go over worksheets, address any questions; Tuesday Review for Test Wednesday (Nuclear Chemistry).  Start Section on Acids & Bases.
 
February 26-March 2: Week 9: Finish up Lab on Monday.  Begin Studying Nuclear Chemistry.  Test tentatively scheduled for next Wednesday (3/7)
 
February 20-23: Week 8: Complete Gas Laws Section, Test Wednesday.  LAB Thursday & Friday **Students need 2+ PRE-1982 Pennies for Lab!!**
 
February 12-15: Week 7: Intro to Gas Laws.  Lab on Wednesday & Thursday (Off Friday & Monday)
 
February 5-9:  Week 6:  Finish Solutions Section, Test Thursday. Section Wrap-up Friday.

January 29 - February 2:  Week 5: Retest Stoichiometry Quiz; Begin Solutions Section.
 
January 22-26: Week 4: Review Stoichiometry, Quiz Thursday. Science Fair Draft due Wednesday.
 
January 16-19: Week 3: Off Monday.  Finish Lab Tuesday; (Snowed out!)
 
January 8-12: Week 2: Review Stoichiometry. Lab Thursday/Friday.
Science Fair Topic Due on Wed. 1/10/18.

October 23-27: Week 3 - Review Ionic & Covalent Bonding, Test Wednesday.  Thursday/Friday, Moles & Mole Conversions.
 
October 16-20:  Week 2 - Continue Ionic & Covalent Bonding:  Polyatomic Ions, Multivalence elements, & nomenclature.
 
October 10-13: Week 1 - Begin study of Chemical Bonding;Tuesday: nature of chemical bonding.  Wed: PSAT. Thurs:  Ionic compound nomenclature.  Fri:  Covalent compound nomenclature..

October 3-5:  Week 9 -  Short week, Wed-Lab Prep; Thursday & Friday, Lab. End of the 9 Weeks.
 
Sept. 25-29:  Week 8 - Wrap Up Periodic Table (Families: examples, properties, & uses;  Trends;  Identifying Elements from Properties/trends).  Test Thursday or Friday.
 
Sept 18-22:  Week 7 - Review, Test on Tuesday.  Begin Study of Periodic Table.
 
Sept 11-15:  Week 6 - (Storm Shortened Week, off Mon & Tues) - Electron Configuration, Lewis Dots, Review.  Test Mid-Next Week)
 
September 5-8:  Week 5 - Begin Study of Atomic Structure; History of Atomic Theory, parts of an atom, Electron Configuration.
 
 August 28- September 1:  Week 4 - Wrap up Density Lab; Complete study of Matter, Properties, Changes, and Energy;  Test Thursday 8/31. Intro to Atomic Structure.
 
August 21-25:  Week 3 - Lab reports due by Wed.  Continue Study of Matter & Density.  Lab on Thursday.d
 
August 14-18: Week 2 - Review, Intro Test on Tuesday 8/15.  Worksheet Packet Due on Wednesday. Begin Study of Matter. Experiments on Friday!
 
Aug 7-11:  Week 1 -  General Survey of Basic Science terms; Metric System, Scientific Notation, Significant Digits, Scientific Method, etc.

All Chemistry Students are required to submit a Science Fair Project
PLEASE NOTE: Only Local Winners are required to write the Research Paper!
Topic selected: 1/10/18
1st Draft review:  1/24/18 (Abstract & Visual Presentation Plan)
2nd Draft review: 1/31/18 (Close to Final, Early test/experimental results)
Final due/Science Fair: 2/7/18
