Headmaster's Message

It is no accident that Glenwood School is recognized as one of the premier educational institutions in the river region, as well as one of the finest independent schools in the southeast.

As a non-denominational Christian School, Glenwood seeks to develop well-rounded students that excel in the classroom, as well as athletically, spiritually, and socially.

Glenwood has a dedicated faculty and staff that are sustained by a supportive Board of Trustees. This was very evident in the Columbus Ledger Enquirer Newsletter 2016 Peoples’ Choice Awards. Glenwood was recognized for our outstanding Child Care Program, Preschool Program, Best Private School, and Best School Principal. In addition, the Alabama Independent School Association consistently recognizes Glenwood as a Blue Ribbon School.

Further evidence supporting Glenwood’s excellence, Glenwood annually exceeds State and National averages in Standardized Testing Scores.

On behalf of the faculty, staff, board, students and parents, we welcome you to become part of the Glenwood Family.
