Jubilation Station!

Welcome to Glenwood Fine Arts! My program philosophy is E3...Explore, Entertain, and Empower. Our program encourages students to explore the fine arts while empowering them with confidence and learning connections. My hope is to interest the new comer to the arts as much as I challenge those who have been dabbling for years! As for study skills - let's get busy and prepare for tomorrow with plenty of creativity mixed in for fun!

My name is Melissa Wilks. I am genuinely happy to encourage your students here at Glenwood.  I am a veteran teacher and my children are life long Glenwood learners. Glenwood is family to us and my students are an extension of that.

In our program, I strive to encourage creativity and empower students to succeed. I hope to broaden the students' awareness of all Fine Arts by connecting fine arts to each other and to life skills. Our goal is to explore and appreciate, if we discover talent, that is only a bonus!

I  assure you that whatever "fun" you hear of in Fine Arts, it is underscored with learning and developmentally appropriate curriculum. I love to teach and take it more seriously than it might ever seem.

Thank you for the opportunity to invest in your children.
