My name is Tamara Garner and this will be my first year teaching at Glenwood. I have been teaching 19 total years in public schools in the Phenix City and Columbus area. I have a Bachelors degree in Microbiology from Auburn University and a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from TROY. I am certified to teach General Science 6-12 with a gifted endorsement. At Glenwood I will be teaching Biology and Chemistry specifically. I love to make learning science fun with lots of labs and hands on activities.
I am married to Matt Garner and we have 2 boys, Griff and Gray, who have been attending Glenwood for the past two years. They love coming to school here and I decided it was time to start investing in the school community that they love so much. In my free time I love to exercise, read, and watch my boys and nephews play sports. I am looking forward to being a part of the Glenwood family full time this year!
