Course Description

The American Government course provides students with a foundation in the operation of our government. The course has 8 sections: foundations, the constitution, civic responsibility, the legislative branch, the executive branch, the judicial branch, local and state government, and criminal justice. In each area, students are introduced to major concepts and themes concerning that aspect of American Government.
